Your journey starts at our iconic location on Prins Hendrikkade in Amsterdam, where you’ll work, make connections, and get a feel for the Dutch startup scene. The first month is all about getting to know each other: you’ll meet your fellow founders, attend weekly sessions, and get used to the rhythm of the StartDock community. After that, you can choose to work from one of our locations in Amsterdam or Rotterdam, depending on what suits you best.
We believe that building a startup is a team sport. That’s why our program is packed with hands-on support through weekly sessions, Peer2Peer sessions, and Startup Visa Pitch sessions, where you practice pitching your company to a jury. But even more important are the everyday interactions: the brainstorming during coffee breaks, the spontaneous collaborations, and those moments when someone says, “Hey, I know someone who can help you with that!”—the things that really move your startup forward.
Waiting for your startup visa? We’re here for you.
If you’re still abroad while waiting for the decision on your visa (outside the EU), we won’t leave you on your own. Every 2–3 weeks you’ll receive guidance to make sure you can get started right away when you arrive. If you’re already in the Netherlands, you can start the program immediately, even if you’re still waiting for final visa approval. This means that from day one you’ll meet your peers, join sessions, and start integrating into the Dutch startup ecosystem.
To really get the most out of the program, we expect you to be present, committed, and an active part of the community. You’ll work at least one full day per week at StartDock, join the sessions, and contribute to the ecosystem. After about 9 months, we’ll review your progress and, if you’ve reached the right milestones, we’ll support you in applying for a self-employed residence permit so you can continue to grow in the Netherlands.
The SVP fee is €500 (excluding VAT) per month per founder and includes your flexible workspace, coaching, and full access to our network. We work on a prepayment basis, and a one-month deposit (€500 per person, excluding VAT) is required at the start. Need extra flexibility? 24/7 access is available for an additional fee.
