New StartDock location, but wait.. Not StartDock!?!

2023 is here and we're kicking off the new year with some exciting news! Together, we've found a new location that embodies our mission of bringing like-minded people together in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We couldn't have done it without the help of our amazing community - friends, family, partners, and colleagues.From the very start on the 1st of January 2016, StartDock (https://startdock.nl/en/)’s goal is to bring like-minded people together in an environment where they can feel free to collaborate and grow together. Since day one we’ve been doing this in unique buildings on central AAA-locations, with a group of Dockers that prefer to work in a dynamic environment that feels like a second home and can be used for work, fun, drinks, lunches, events and much more. We’ve been working hard in 2022 to find a fifth location for our concept, preferably in the Randstad area. As much of the popular commercial real estate in the cities that match with StartDock’s proposition was either unaffordable or occupied, we found out that finding an empty building was a tough goal in 2022. Therefore we decided to look in a different direction..And we found it! We've taken over Wheelhouse (https://www.wheelhouse.nl/), a community-focused coworking space located in the heart of Amsterdam that focuses on media and communication. This space is 800 square meters of coworking with a large lunchroom, music studio and event space (with a BAR!) that aligns perfectly with our values. The team, led by the incredible Community Manager Kimberly Boogaard, will be working hand in hand with the members of Wheelhouse to integrate our values and create a space where everyone feels at home.We're ecstatic to welcome the Wheelhouse community to the StartDock family! This new location will be a valuable addition to our existing four locations and we can't wait to see what the future holds.
