We are StartDock, a Coworking Space operator with five locations in Amsterdam and one in Rotterdam. We believe in creating a warm environment with like-minded people, where you can help each other push boundaries. We are a Coworking Space, housing only companies that help each other move forward. StartDock offers the closest communities of entrepreneurs and professionals, helping each other grow. We are looking for the perfect candidates for the role of Community Associate at StartDock, whose hands are itching to work together to build the ideal entrepreneurial environment for Dockers.

As a Community Associate (your role as an intern), you will have the freedom to develop your own ideas with us, under the direct supervision of a regular team member (HBO+) at StartDock. An internship is there to learn from and making mistakes is encouraged! So don't be afraid to choose StartDock and do not hesitate to share your ideas about the internship.

Operational

You are the face of the operation, the contact person for all Dockers at your location. This is a social role where you help entrepreneurs move forward by helping them, both professionally and privately. You must therefore enjoy being social. You will also organise and host the Community Lunch on a daily basis; the moment in the day when we connect entrepreneurs and create the atmosphere StartDock is known for. For this part of the internship, we ask you to take a critical look at how our spaces look and look. You are open to solving problems and get energy from organising events or get-togethers.

Tactical

We will focus your internship research on a theme that interests you. Is there something you want to research/learn? Bring it on! Don't know it? We have many themes and research projects on the shelf that we would like to challenge you with! It is important to us that you have an instructive internship, in which you can develop qualities that will help you further after your internship!
