StartDock Coworking revamps location and expands

StartDock, provider of flexible workspaces, office spaces and meeting rooms, is expanding its existing location in Rotterdam with a full floor. This takes the coworking concept to 1850m2 in Rotterdam. The branch in the iconic monumental building on Westplein 12-14, nicknamed ‘De Rustplaets’, will also undergo renovations in several places.

The StartDock concept is known for its flexible accommodation of SMEs in classic monumental buildings. The Rotterdam branch already accommodated around 200 users and thanks to the expansion, this will grow to a total of 275. Nine additional offices will be created on the extra floor, ranging from four-person offices to eight-person offices. The additional floor will be ready for lease from 1 April 2025.

The site will go into refurbishment from 1 March, with several floors to be renovated and the entire reception area brought up to contemporary standards. After the refurbishment, the building on Westplein will contain three meeting rooms -which can be used both internally and externally-, a multitude of internal calling rooms, 40 private offices and two spaces with individual workstations.
